On Saturday, May 5th, the attention of the sporting world will turn to Louisville, Kentucky, for the running of the Kentucky Derby, the first jewel in the chase for the Triple Crown.
The 138th renewal of The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports features a full 20-horse field, led by Bob Baffert's Bodemeister, the 4-1 favorite, and Michael Matz's Union Rags, second choice at 9-2.
Bodemeister, winner of the Arkansas Derby, will depart from post #6, ridden by jockey Mike Smith with Union Rags just inside him, leaving from post #4.
Post time for the Derby is 6:24 pm EDT, televised live on NBC.
